Swimming Pool and Sports & Wellness Complex

The main aim of the swimming pool and sports & wellness complex is a contemporary, multi-purpose space open to the public, bringing together sport, health, leisure and social life. The natural setting and landscape of Kvareli are one of the project’s main sources of inspiration. The complex is designed to fit the town harmoniously and to offer a comfortable place for people of every age and interest.

The design joins contemporary architecture, natural materials and open public space. Clear geometric volumes, vertical timber-toned fins and large glazed surfaces make a dynamic, contemporary facade. The fins give the building its distinctive rhythm and at the same time shade it from the sun; the large windows strengthen the visual link between inside and outside and make the most of daylight.

The overall character rests on simplicity, function and a close relationship with the setting, giving Kvareli a contemporary and inviting public place. The total floor area of the complex is 5,901.97 m².
